led by Dr. Victoria Bird

Dr. Victoria Bird is a distinguished urologist who began her career as an Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Miami and the adjacent Veterans Administration Hospital, with a clinical and research focus on prostate cancer care.

 

She later joined the University of Florida's Department of Urology in the College of Medicine, where she continues to serve as an Assistant Professor. In addition, she holds an affiliate faculty position at the University of Florida’s College of Engineering, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration in medical research and innovation.

Dr. Bird is committed to personalized, patient-centered care and has earned multiple awards recognizing excellence in clinical service. Her research has been featured at national and international conferences, and she has contributed extensively to the scientific literature.

Her published work covers a broad spectrum of urologic topics, including prostate cancer, testosterone physiology, kidney stone disease, and urinary tract infections.

UIC is proud to partner with the Busch Center, working collaboratively to advance prostate cancer care. Together, we have made significant strides in improving diagnostic and treatment options, particularly through the innovative use of TULSA technology. This partnership embodies our shared commitment to leveraging cutting-edge advancements to enhance patient outcomes and revolutionize prostate health care.
