My name is Nick and I am an aspiring Doctor with a strong educational background consisting of an Associates of Arts – AA (Summa Cum Laude) from St. Johns River State College and a Bachelor of Science – BS (Cum Laude) focused in Biomedical Engineering from University of Florida.
I met Dr. Victoria Bird at the University of Florida in my Senior Design course in which a team of engineers, including myself, created a solution to dissolve calcium oxalate kidney stones and a full 3-D model of the urinary tract system that was 3-D printed using a rubber-silicone like material.
While in school, I worked at two different healthcare facilities. First, St. Vincent’s Medical Center – Riverside in the Surgical Services department. Second, Express Family Care – Palatka.
Prior to working in healthcare, I was a college tutor at St. Johns River State College in which I taught all subjects except for computer science, English, and history courses. I see myself as a well-rounded person willing to do anything I can do to help so please don’t be afraid to ask.
